PRINCETON BOTTLING AND ICE WORKS
PRINCETON BOTTLING WORKS

The earliest bottling plant that I have found in Princeton, WV was the Princeton Bottling and Ice Works which was incorporated on June 11, 1906.(2) The Stockholders were E. W. Hale, L. H. Perkins, H. W. Straley, A. T. Caperton, all of Princeton, W. VA, and Wade W. Appling of Athens, W. VA.(2) It appears that the building was located on Trent Street between Mercer Ave. and Harrison Ave. The bottling plant shows up at this location on the 1910, 1915 Sanborn maps; however, is gone by 1923. This may have also been the Princeton Bottling Works which was located on North Walker Street near Hearn Avenue, and has Joseph Lisagor is listed as owner, in the 1921-1925 city directories.(1)
