PRINCETON BOTTLING WORKS
CRYSTAL BOTTLING WORKS

The Princeton Bottling Works first appears in the Bluefield city directories in 1923, with Joseph Lisagor listed as owner, and located North Walker Street near Hearn Avenue.(1) The interesting thing is that Joseph Lisagor is listed in the 1923 Beverage Blue Book as being over the Crystal Bottling Works.(2) While no artifact evidence has shown up for a Crystal Bottling Works, I was sent a photo a couple of years ago of a Princeton Bottling Works crate. Neither of these two names show up in the 1925 Beverage Blue Book which leads me to believe that it is out of business or may have been sold to L. H. Swain who started the Chero-Cola Bottling Company of Princeton in June of 1923.(3)
